It’s that time of year again when the coveted gold statues will soon be handed out to Hollywood’s best during the Academy Awards (aka the Oscars). You won’t want to miss this must-see television event!

The 91st Academy Awards will be broadcast live on Sunday, February 24 at 8:00p.m. EST on ABC. If you are a fashionista, you may want to tune in early to the Red Carpet soiree starting at 5:30p.m. EST.

This year’s ceremony will honor some of 2018’s best actors/actresses, directors and films including Black Panther, BlacKkKlansman, Bohemian Rhapsody, The Favourite, Green Book, Roma, A Star is Born and Vice. It will also be the first time in 30 years the Oscars will be held without an official host.

Whether you are a new cord cutter or just looking for the best way to watch the Oscars, here are some options for a great TV viewing experience:

  • Our top pick is to watch the Oscars for FREE on OTA using AirTV and an Antenna. Won’t be around to catch it live at home? No problem – you can easily livestream the ceremony while on the go or use the DVR function with AirTV/AirTV Player and watch it later.
  • Subscribe to SlingTV Orange for just $25/month plus Broadcast Extra for an additional $5/month.
  • Download the ABC Go App – make sure to authenticate with your paid TV provider.
  • Other paid streaming services include YouTube TV ($35/month), DirectTV Now ($35/month), PlayStation Vue ($40/month) and Hulu Live TV ($40/month).
